Solidarity Program - encouraging females to try ILCA Sailing

Following the success of the 2023, 2024 AND 2025 Solidarity Programs at Georges River Sailing Club, Adelaide Sailing Club and RQYS, ILCA Australia has continued the program for 2026. The program will see selection of a number of female sailors, being one from each Australian District (excluding the NT), one from New Zealand, and three female sailors from Oceania small islands. As a reminder here is a summary of the cost items covered by the various parties who support the Oceania Solidarity program.

  • Entry to the event & functions- Provided by the organising authority (TDLA & RYCT)
  • A dedicated team coach for duration of the event provided by Australian Sailing.
  • An ILCA 4 charter boat in race condition & team merchandise provided by Performance Sailcraft.
  • An ILCA 4 sail with the identifying Solidarity logo provided by ILCA Oceania.

 

Participants cover their own accommodation & travel costs.

Applications close 1st September 2025 and successful applicants will be announced by the 30th of September.
