2026 Coast Championships (24–25 October 2026 @ Speers Point ASC) Our Coast Championships are just around the corner, happening on 24–25 October at the great and venerable Speers Point Amateur Sailing Club, located at the northern end of Lake Macquarie. Speers Point ASC is a fantastic, welcoming little club with a rich history—it started 120 years ago and has been at its current site for over 70 years! These days they have a growing fleet of junior ILCA sailors and other dinghy classes.

Surrounded by the beautiful green spaces of Speers Point Park, the club offers plenty of parking, a large, grassed rigging area, and two wide launching ramps. The sailing area on Cockle and Warners Bays gives us uncongested water and usually some really great breezes. There is plenty of accommodation nearby, including a caravan park, short-term cottage and apartment rentals, hotels, motels, and Airbnbs. Plus, the legendary Pipi’s Pub is just up the road!

NSW & ACT States (14–15 November 2026 @ DBSC) This year, our States will combine Youth, Open, and Masters categories in our major cube regatta. We’re hosting it at Double Bay Sailing Club, the largest ILCA club in our half of the globe!

This event will see top local sailors competing alongside some of the best Australian and possibly overseas sailors on iconic Sydney Harbour.

• 2026 Sail Melbourne:26–29 November 2026 – Brighton, Melbourne

• 2026 Sail Brisbane:15–19 December 2026 – RQYS, Brisbane

• 2027 Performance Sailcraft ILCA Oceania & Australian Open & Youth Championships:1–8 January 2027 - Sandringham, Melbourne

• 2027 Performance Sailcraft ILCA Under-21 World Championships:10–17 January 2027 - Sandringham, Melbourne
   
• 2027 Oceania & Australian Masters Championships:5-8 February 2027 RQYS, Brisbane

Local and overseas sailors can build a full Australian summer campaign by including regattas in multiple states.

ILCA 4 Girls Solidarity Program The Solidarity Program will be running again at the 2027 ILCA Oceania & Australian Championships. An ILCA 4 sailor (aged 13–16) from each Australian District, New Zealand, and Fiji has been selected to participate.
