Coaching for all ILCA Masters sailors. Coach will be Simon Small and the venue is RQYS.

This is to provide some preparation for masters intending to sail in the National Masters at Port Stephens in early February.

Simon Small grew up in NZ, he has trained and raced against the legends; Burfoot, Dawson, Pepper, Barker. A campaigner in the Ben Ainsley youth era, Simon won the youth worlds in 1996 in the Full Rig.

Simon knows how to manipulate the rig and trim for speed. He has shown this skill again and again over the decades, first as a youth, then open and now a masters sailor and coach.

1996 ISAF Youth Worlds laser (full rig) 1st

Working with Shirley Robertson GBR in the Europe for her Sydney 2000 Victory.

Working with Sharon Ferris NZL in the Europe for her NZ Olympic campaign 2nd overall.
